This can be useful for constructing nice looking excerpts with the break point in a sensible place. Easy on/off for Pages, Posts and Excerpts, so you can enable it just where you want it. Upload the `character-countdown` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory 2. Activate the plugin through the WordPress ‘Plugins’ dashboard. 3. Configure the plugin by going to the `Character Countdown` tab that appears in your admin menu.
