The ai.txt file is deleted when the plugin is uninstalled. ## Installation 1. Log into your WordPress site. 2. Navigate to the tab. If you don\’t see this, please verify your user permissions. 3. Click the **Add New** button. 4. Click the **Upload Plugin** button. 5. Select the **Choose File** prompt. Find the `spawning_ai.zip` file and select it. 6. Click the **Install Now** button. 7. Once the installation completes, you will see a buttin **Activate Plugin**. 8. You should now have a new tab in your WordPress installation labeled **Spawning AI**. 9. Click this tab to see the ai.txt generation options. The `ai.txt` file will automatically be built and saved to your root path (e.g. `https://www.example.com/ai.txt`). ## FAQ Acceptance of Terms By using the ai.txt tool provided by Spawning (\”The Service\”), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (\”Terms of Service\”). Description of Service Spawning provides the ai.txt tool as a service to assist users in managing permissions related to data scraping and usage by artificial intelligence models. Spawning does not guarantee that the use of ai.txt will prevent unauthorized data usage, but it is designed to aid in communicating users\’ preferences regarding data use. Efficacy and Enforcement The effectiveness of ai.txt depends on its recognition and respect by AI model developers and data scrapers. Spawning provides the tools to create and manage ai.txt files, but it does not guarantee enforcement. Users recognize that not all parties may choose to respect the guidelines set out in an ai.txt file. Liability Spawning disclaims all liability for any damages or harm incurred as a result of the use or misuse of the ai.txt tool. This includes, but is not limited to, any damages resulting from unauthorized data scraping, the misuse of data, or the misinterpretation of the instructions laid out in an ai.txt file. Changes to Terms of Service Spawning reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time, and it is the user\’s responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes.
