Use only one tag!<\/li>\n<li>In Processors Conditions, enable the processor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Upload the plugin files to the '\/wp-content\/plugins' directory,<br \/>\nor install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.<\/li>\n<li>Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt><h3>What is the benefit of this processor<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>In a nutshell, minimizing misuse of bogus eMail domains like \"njgaay.xzy\" or mistypted eMail domains.\nSituation, a customer wants to get in touch via a contact form with an eMail adresss field.\nThis processor checks for DNS records that point to a valid eMail server for the eMail domain given.\nWith this check, you can minimize bogus domains that eg. have been mistyped or misused and no eMail can be sent\/replied to.\nA requestor is enforced to check his eMail address without complex measures. Helps minimizing the misuse of the contact form.\nIt is most likely but not set, that missing DNS records will prevent recieving eMails for the domain given.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt><h3>How is the check made<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The check is made with php <code>checkdnsrr<\/code> to look if the eMail domain returns either a valid DNS MX or A or AAAA record,\nin this sort order.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt><h3>Can this plugin guarantee that the eMail domain is bogus<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>This plugin can only check if the eMail domain is likely to recieve eMails.\nBy nature how eMail was defined, there is no easy and secure way to find this out.\nBut the majority of servers do have a proper MX or A or AAAA record that highlights the\npossibility that this server can process eMails.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt><h3>Can this plugin guarantee eMail delivery<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>If the server can recieve eMails, it is still possible that the recipients name is mistyped or unknown.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n<!--section=changelog-->\n<h4>1.1<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Improved Text Domain settings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>1.0<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Initial Release\nTested with Caldera Forms 1.8.11<\/li>\n<\/ul>","raw_excerpt":"Processor for Caldera Forms to check if the domain of the eMail given is most likely capable recieving eMails.
