This plugin injects a small search box at the top of taxonomy metaboxes (the checkbox lists) on the post edit screen. It only appears for taxonomies that have more than 5 terms to avoid clutter.<\/p>\n\n

Search queries are performed via AJAX and the checklist is filtered client-side for a quick, responsive experience.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Upload the taxonomy-admin-search<\/code> folder to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory.<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress.<\/li>\n
  3. Edit a post that uses a taxonomy with more than 5 terms and the search box will appear above the taxonomy metabox.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    Will this plugin change term assignments?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

    No. It only shows\/hides existing checklist items. It doesn't add, remove, or modify terms.<\/p><\/dd>\n

    Can I change the threshold of 5 terms?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

    Not from the UI yet. You can change the threshold by editing the plugin source where intval($count) > 5<\/code> is used.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
