Bix AI Writer<\/strong> adds a simple panel in the Gutenberg editor where you can:\n- Generate full content<\/strong> for a post\/page from a prompt.\n- Create a clean summary<\/strong> from any text you paste.<\/p>\n\n

Bring your own backend:<\/strong> choose OpenAI, OpenRouter, or a fully free local setup with Ollama<\/strong> (http:\/\/localhost:11434<\/code>). You keep control of keys and models. No vendor lock-in.<\/p>\n\n

Privacy and Data Usage<\/h3>\n\n

Bix AI Writer connects to third-party AI services to generate content or summaries based on your prompts. Depending on the provider you select in Settings \u2192 AI Writer<\/strong>, your text will be sent to:<\/p>\n\n

  • Ollama (Local, Self-Hosted)<\/strong> \u2014 https:\/\/ollama.com\/\nYour data stays on your own server. No external transmission is involved unless your Ollama endpoint is remote.<\/li>\n
  • OpenAI<\/strong> \u2014 https:\/\/openai.com\/ \u2014 Privacy Policy: https:\/\/openai.com\/privacy<\/li>\n
  • OpenRouter<\/strong> \u2014 https:\/\/openrouter.ai\/ \u2014 Privacy Policy: https:\/\/openrouter.ai\/privacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    The plugin itself does not<\/strong> collect analytics or store personal data; it only inserts the returned text into the editor. API requests are performed from your WordPress server directly to the configured provider. You are responsible for complying with the selected provider\u2019s terms of use and privacy policies.<\/p>\n\n\n

    2. Activate Bix AI Writer<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
