    WP-CollectiveAccess is a wordpress plugin to display collections informations & media from museum or digital archives\ninside Wordpress, using web services.<\/p>\n\n

    WP-CollectiveAccess is a project lead by id\u00e9esculture, a small french company, involved in CollectiveAccess development\nthrough french translation & a dedicated module for Mus\u00e9es de France museums, tiny devs... We provide CollectiveAccess\nservices to museum, tourism offices in France & french-speaking countries.\nThis project was funded by Pro-Memoria, an italian company providing CollectiveAccess services.<\/p>\n\n

    CollectiveAccess is an opensource web-based suite of applications providing a framework for management, description, and discovery\nof complex digital and physical collections.\nCollectiveAccess is a registered trademark by Whirl-i-Gig in the USA. It has been brought by a collaboration between and\npartner institutions in North America and Europe with projects in 5 continents.<\/p>\n\n\n

    1. Unzip WP-CollectiveAccess.zip inside the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
    2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
    3. Adapt configuration through Settings > CollectiveAccess<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

      How to test WP-CollectiveAccess with a default & empty wordpress installation ?<\/dt>\n

      WP-CollectiveAccess has been tested with Wordpress 3.9, using default theme (aka Twenty Fourteen).<\/p>\n\n

      To test this plugin inside a fast-to-deploy setup :<\/p>\n\n

      1. Install WP-CollectiveAccess plugin and activate it<\/li>\n
      2. Install wordpress-importer plugin<\/a> and activate it<\/li>\n
      3. (optional) Read this blog post<\/a>\nabout the sample wordpress data we'll deploy<\/li>\n
      4. Download the zip of the XML & the WIE files<\/a> we will import<\/li>\n
      5. Go to Tools -> Import -> Wordpress<\/li>\n
      6. Select the file that has the \"XML\" extension.<\/li>\n
      7. Install Widget Importer & Exporter plugin<\/a> and activate\nit. It is used to import widgets data similar to original demo.<\/li>\n
      8. Go to Tools -> Widget Importer & Exporter<\/li>\n
      9. Click on \u201cSelect file\u201d or similar button there.<\/li>\n
      10. Select the file that has the \u201cwie\u201d extension (demos.pixelthemes.com-twentyfourteen-demo-setup-widgets.wie)<\/li>\n
      11. Go to Appearance -> Menu section.<\/li>\n
      12. In \"Select a menu to edit\", choose \"Testing menu\" and click Select<\/li>\n
      13. Bottom of the page, tick \"Top primary menu\" and click Save menu<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/dd>\n
