Your customers see live Trunkrs delivery options at checkout, orders are announced to Trunkrs automatically, and you print labels straight from the WooCommerce admin.<\/p>\n\n<p>This is the second generation of the Trunkrs plugin, rebuilt from the ground up. It is a separate plugin from the original \"Trunkrs for WooCommerce\", which remains available. See the FAQ on how to switch.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Main features<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>One-click connection<\/strong> with your Trunkrs account, no API keys to copy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Live shipping rates<\/strong> at checkout, based on cart value, country and postal code, straight from your Trunkrs pricing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Delivery date picker<\/strong> with available timeslots, for both the classic and the block-based checkout.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Automatic announcements<\/strong>: orders are announced to Trunkrs when they are placed or reach a paid status. Cancelling or restoring an order is handled for you.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Labels<\/strong>: print PDF labels per order, or in bulk as one PDF from the order list.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Live shipment status<\/strong>: Trunkrs pushes shipment updates to your store, shown as a status badge in the order list and optionally mapped to WooCommerce order statuses.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Track &amp; Trace<\/strong> links in order emails and in the customer's My Account page.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Order routing rules<\/strong>: announce only the orders that match your conditions, such as country, cart value, product category or order status.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Service levels<\/strong> for same-day delivery, fresh food and frozen food, limited to what your Trunkrs plan includes. Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/trunkrs.nl\">trunkrs.nl<\/a> to get started.<\/li>\n<li>WordPress 6.5 or higher and WooCommerce 9.0 or higher.<\/li>\n<li>PHP 8.1 or higher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Source code and build<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin is developed and maintained by Trunkrs B.V.<\/p>\n\n<p>The JavaScript and CSS in the <code>build\/<\/code> folder are compiled from the human-readable TypeScript, React and SCSS source in the <code>assets\/<\/code> folder, which ships with the plugin together with the build configuration (<code>package.json<\/code>, <code>yarn.lock<\/code>, <code>webpack.config.js<\/code>, <code>tsconfig.json<\/code>, <code>tsconfig.base.json<\/code>).<\/p>\n\n<p>To rebuild the compiled files:<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Install Node.js 20 and Yarn 1.<\/li>\n<li>Run <code>yarn install --frozen-lockfile<\/code> in the plugin folder.<\/li>\n<li>Run <code>yarn build<\/code>. This runs <code>@wordpress\/scripts<\/code> (webpack) and writes <code>build\/admin.js<\/code>, <code>build\/checkout.js<\/code> and their stylesheets.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>Third-party libraries bundled in <code>build\/admin.js<\/code> and <code>build\/checkout.js<\/code>, all installed from npm with the versions pinned in <code>yarn.lock<\/code>: <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/auth0\/auth0.js\">auth0-js<\/a> (MIT), <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/jaredpalmer\/formik\">Formik<\/a> (Apache-2.0), <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/jquense\/yup\">Yup<\/a> (MIT), <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/axios\/axios\">Axios<\/a> (MIT) and <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/lukeed\/clsx\">clsx<\/a> (MIT). The embedded captcha module of auth0-js is replaced by a stub at build time (<code>assets\/shared\/auth0-captcha-stub.js<\/code>), so the plugin never loads captcha scripts from third-party servers.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects to services operated by Trunkrs to provide delivery. It does not work without a Trunkrs account.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Trunkrs Shipping Portal<\/strong> (shipping.trunkrs.app, portal.trunkrs.app): used to connect your store, fetch shipping rates at checkout and receive settings updates. Sent: the cart value, destination country and postal code when rates are requested, and your store's hostname when connecting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Trunkrs API<\/strong> (api.trunkrs.nl): used to announce and cancel shipments, fetch delivery timeslots, check service areas, download labels and register webhooks. Sent when an order is announced: the recipient's name, company name, address, email address and phone number, the order reference, the product names, quantities and weight, and the customer's order note.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Trunkrs login<\/strong> (trunkrs.eu.auth0.com, provided by Auth0 by Okta): used only when you click \"Connect with Trunkrs\" to log in to your Trunkrs account. Sent: your login credentials, directly to the login page.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Trunkrs Track &amp; Trace<\/strong> (parcel.trunkrs.nl): only linked to from emails and My Account when you enable Track &amp; Trace links. No data is sent by the plugin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Trunkrs <a href=\"https:\/\/trunkrs.nl\/algemene-voorwaarden\">terms and conditions<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/trunkrs.nl\/privacy-cookies\">privacy policy<\/a>. Do I need to switch?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. The original plugin keeps working and you can stay on it. Switch when you want the new features.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20do%20i%20switch%20from%20the%20original%20plugin%3F\"><h3>How do I switch from the original plugin?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Deactivate \"Trunkrs for WooCommerce\" first, then install and activate this plugin and connect your Trunkrs account again. Both plugins cannot run at the same time: while the original plugin is active, this plugin pauses itself and shows a notice. Your existing orders and shipping zones stay intact.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"i%20installed%20a%20pre-release%20v2%20zip.%20how%20do%20i%20move%20to%20this%20version%3F\"><h3>I installed a pre-release v2 ZIP. How do I move to this version?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Deactivate and delete the old ZIP version first, then install this plugin. If you upload this version over the old one instead, WordPress deactivates the plugin because its main file was renamed: simply activate it again.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20happens%20when%20i%20delete%20the%20plugin%3F\"><h3>What happens when I delete the plugin?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Its settings, cached data and log table are removed, and its webhooks are unregistered at Trunkrs. Order data and shipment details on your orders are kept. Turn off the built-in picker in the plugin settings. Delivery dates from the Order Delivery Date (Tyche) and YITH plugins are picked up automatically.
