- Enter your username and password using the credentials of your Wemap Pro account.<\/li>\n

\nHow do I create a point?<\/h3><\/dt>\nWemap powered points pin the content of your post to a map. Each point contains the entirety of the post itself (copy, pictures, links, etc.). Your points are true and accurate mapped representations of your brand and content.<\/p>\n\n
To create a point, please follow the following steps.<\/p>\n\n
\n- Click on \u2018Add New Post\u2019 or \u2018Edit Post\u2019<\/li>\n
- If creating a new post, compose your post.<\/li>\n
- If you see \u2018Add this post to a Livemap\u2019 continue, if not, confirm that you are logged into the Wemap Plugin and then continue as described below.<\/li>\n
- Choose to either use an image thumnbail (you will be required to upload the image) or an icon.<\/li>\n
- Enter the address of the location of your post. Our address bar will help suggest locations.<\/li>\n
- Latitude and Longitude will automatically their respective fields.<\/li>\n
- If you have created lists at pro.getwemap.com, add it to as list. If not, ignore this option.<\/li>\n
- Press \u2018Publish\u2019.<\/li>\n
- Return to your post and click on \u2018Add smart map thumbnail to your post\u2019.<\/li>\n
- Press \u2018Update\u2019.<\/li>\n
- The thumbnail is automatically set to 600x400 pixels and will appear as a footer in your article. You can manually adjust the size and location of the thumbnail in the WordPress editing tool.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/dd>\n
How do I add a point to a Wemap list?<\/h3><\/dt>\nThe Wemap WordPress plugin enables you to seamlessly add any newly created point to a previously created list and the associated smart map.<\/p>\n\n
Publish a new post, select the desired list and your latest post is automatically available as a thumbnail for your post and as point in your mash-up map.<\/p>\n\n
\n- Log into to your WemapWordPress account at pro.getwemap.com<\/li>\n
- Create a new list (eg Restaurants, Bars or Downtown).<\/li>\n
- Return to your WordPress admin pages.<\/li>\n

How do I add a smart map to a post?<\/h3><\/dt>\nThe Wemap WordPress plugin enables you to embed any map created at pro.getwemap.com into a dedicated post (eg, \u201cThings to do this weekend\u201d) and, or to include a map as part of another article (eg, a \u2018Best BBQ joints\u2019 map as a part of a restaurant review post). \n1. Log into your WemapWordPress account at pro.getwemap.com\n2. Create a new list (eg, Restaurants, Bars or Downtown).\n3. Define the parameters of your smart map via the \u2018Manage\u2019 menu.\n4. Return to your WordPress admin pages.\n5. Create a new post or edit your selected post.\n6. Confirm that you are logged into the WemapWordPress Plugin.\n7. Click on \u2018Embed map in your post\u2019.\n8. A pop-up will appear asking you to \u2018add a Smart Map\u2019 with a dropdown menu.\n9. Select the desired map.\n10.
