Allow separator (HR<\/code> \/ line) and unlinked, text-only entries in WordPress' classic navigation menus.<\/p>\n\n

Block editor<\/h3>\n\n

This plugin does not support the Block Editor or the navigation block<\/strong>. It is intended for use with the classic menus<\/a> (e.g. wp_nav_menu<\/code>).<\/p>\n\n

Usage<\/h3>\n\n

  1. Upload the plugin folder to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  3. Edit your menu in the \u201cAppearance\u201d section of WordPress Admin. Add a custom link entry, then use ---<\/code> (three dashes) as link text for a horizontal line or use #<\/code> as a URL for an unlinked menu entry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Filters<\/h3>\n\n

    Version 2.1.0 of the plugin added two filters, with which developers can customise the output.<\/p>\n\n

    • mhm-menu-separator\/separator<\/code> allows customisation of a separator output. Receives the arguments '<hr class=\"mhm-menu-separator\">'<\/code> (the uncustomised HTML) and $item<\/code> (the menu item).<\/li>\n
    • mhm-menu-separator\/title<\/code> allows customisation of an unlinked menu entry. Receives the arguments $item->post_title<\/code> (the plain, unlinked menu item text) and $item<\/code> (the menu item).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n
