Captain Funnel connects your WordPress and WooCommerce website to the official WhatsApp Cloud API by Meta and sends automated WhatsApp messages to your customers whenever an order status changes or a form is submitted. No third party gateway, no unofficial WhatsApp automation tool, and no manual copy pasting of phone numbers. Everything runs directly from your own WordPress admin dashboard using Meta’s official API.

How It Works

1. Enter your Meta WhatsApp Cloud API credentials in Captain Funnel → Settings.
2. Enable the integrations you want to use, such as WooCommerce, Elementor Forms, or LearnDash, under Captain Funnel → Integrations.
3. Write your WhatsApp message templates using dynamic variables under Captain Funnel → Templates.
4. Optionally build a multi step automation sequence under Captain Funnel → Funnels, or set up a bulk campaign under Captain Funnel → Broadcasts.
5. Messages are then sent automatically whenever a matching event happens on your site, such as an order status change or a form submission.

This plugin sends data to the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API (graph.facebook.com) to deliver WhatsApp messages to your customers. This connection is required for the plugin to function.

By installing and configuring this plugin, you agree to the Meta WhatsApp Business Policy. Messages are only sent when explicitly triggered by site events, such as an order status change, a form submission, a funnel step, or a broadcast campaign you create. No data is sent without the site admin’s own configuration and intent.

Data sent to the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API:

• Customer phone number : Used to deliver the WhatsApp message
• Message content : The message text configured by the site admin in Templates, Funnels, or Broadcasts

Visitor Privacy:

No data is collected, stored, or shared by the plugin author. All API credentials are stored locally in your own WordPress database. A transient is used to throttle token expiry notification emails to a maximum of once per day. No external tracking or analytics are performed by this plugin.
